Gobi Desert is the “Hidden Gem” of the South Mongolia and Juulchin World Tours is the best way to experience it. Gobi Desert is famous for its harshest environments, extreme temperature and seasonal changes but surprisingly Gobi has a full color of mysterious wildlife and most importantly it has own class. The origin of ancient seabed, the Gobi has a treasure package of fossilized dinosaur bones and eggs. The Gobi is the main station of the two-humped Bacterian camel which is named by locals “Living Dinosaurs”. The Bacterian camel is a vital part of nomadic herdsman. The Gobi has a countless natural miracle. Thousands of years with erosion, this majestic canyon was formed by nature with its mesmerizing red rock formation that stretches for 15 kms. The gorgeous color of the canyon is scenic at sunset.

Yol Valley (Eagle Valley) is located in the eastern part of Gurvan Saikhan Mountain
and surrounded by sheer rock walls rising over 2600m above sea level. Yol Valley
is originally established to conserve the birdlife in the region but famous for its dramatic
scenery. The picturesque valley is an amazing natural creation where it has meters
thick ice almost year around. There is great hiking opportunity from the parking areas
to the glacier following the stream. In winter time glacier is up to 10m high and remains
frozen for all year around. You might see wild ibex or argali sheep up in the mountain if
you hike early in the morning

  • After breakfast drive to famous dinosaur deposit Flaming Cliff where worlds first dinosaur egg nest have been discovered by Roy Chapmen Andrews

  • Lunch nearby Flaming Cliff

  • In the afternoon drive to Moltsog Sand dunes.

  • Visit Mongolian camel breeding Nomad family and ride Bactrian Camel

  • Back to Gobi Sun Lodge

Bayanzag is also known as the “Cemetery of Dinosaurs” and known as Flaming Cliffs to the world. This is a picturesque sexual forest that is world famous for dinosaur remain ancient red rock creation, Bayanzag formed 60-70 million years ago,  named Flaming Cliffs by Roy Andrew Chapman, an American explorer who visited Mongolia in 1920s. This area is like real Jurassic Park, and classic desert of rock, red sands, shrub and wide open emptiness.

Today we say leave Gobi Desert region with early morning flight before the sun hits and bid farewell to Golden Gobi.
