Itinerary
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Juulchin World Tours professional team will meet and greet you at airport. After checking in, we visit living winter palace of our last religious and political leader Bogd Jevtsundamba. Then visit Zaisan memorial a Soviet era monument for second world war. Also, this hill is great look out for Ulaanbaatar City. Enjoy welcome dinner at local restuarant and get ready for our Mongolian adventure ahead.
Bayangobi, Khugnu Khan NP
Day 2
Our journey to Western Mongolia begins as we head to Khugnu Khan National Park. Before leaving UB, we visit Gandan Monastery and get blessing for our journey. After 5-6 hour of driving, we arrive at Khugnu Khan NP where Gobi sand dunes, Khangai Mountains lies side by side. Here we visit camel breeding family and ride camels on Mongol Sand dunes.
The Kharkhorin city
Day 3
Today we visit Kharkhorin once a capital of great Mongolian Empire, later become capital of Mongolian Buddhism, now a modest town with 11thousand residents. Here we explore 15th century Erdenezuu Monastery, afterwards learn the history of Mongolian Empire by visiting Harhorin Museum, then meet with local artist to studay Calligraphy of traditional Mongolian Script. Then we continue our journey further to Tsehner Hot Springs.
Khorgo Crater, Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake
Day 4
This morning we continue further by driving to Tsetserleg city. After visiting Arkhangai province museum and Zaya Gegeen Monastery we continue to Terkh White Lake, where we’ll stay the night. Along the way stop by Taikhar rock and Chuluut river canyon.
Khar Lake
Day 5
Deeper into west as we explore further to Ulaagchin Har Lake, located in the middle of sand dunes. Mukhar Hun river feeding the lake is also plus to the mesmerizing scenery.
Khyargas lake, Khetsuu Khad
Day 6
Our Mongolian adventure continues as we head to Khyargas Lake in The Valley of the Lakes, an intermontane depression. Today we discover various rock sculpture made by mother nature herself like Senjit rock and Khetsuu Rock. Many people come to Khyargas Lake to watch various water birds enjoying the summer by Khetsuu rock.
