Itinerary
Arrival in Mongolia
Day 1
Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be welcomed by the Juulchin World Tours team and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, begin your introduction to the city with a visit to the Ulaanbaatar City Museum, followed by the General Jukov Museum. Continue to Jukov Square and take a short walk around the area before enjoying a welcome dinner.
Yol Valley
Day 2
After breakfast, take a flight to the Gobi Desert and begin your exploration of one of its most spectacular landscapes, Yol Valley. Located within the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan region, the valley offers dramatic mountain scenery and a narrow canyon surrounded by rocky landscapes. Enjoy a hiking experience through Yol Valley before taking part in a cooking lesson. After the day's activities, settle into your Ger Camp for the evening
Flaming Cliffs & Khongor Sand Dunes
Day 3
Today, continue deeper into the Gobi Desert with a drive to the famous Flaming Cliffs. Known for their striking red landscape, the cliffs are one of Mongolia's most remarkable desert sites. Continue your journey towards the Khongor Sand Dunes, where you will have time to climb and hike across the impressive dunes. Later, visit a camel-breeding family and experience riding a Bactrian camel, one of the characteristic animals of the Gobi.
Camp
Day 4
After breakfast, continue your journey through the remote landscapes of the Gobi Desert as you drive towards Naran Daats. The day's route takes you further into the less-travelled areas of the desert, allowing you to experience its vast and open surroundings. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the remote Gobi.
Khermen Tsav Canyon
Day 6
Continue your Gobi adventure with a drive to the spectacular Khermen Tsav Canyon. This remote desert landscape is known for its dramatic rock formations and expansive canyon scenery. Spend the day exploring the surroundings of Khermen Tsav before returning to Naran Daats for the night.
Bichigt Valley Petroglyphs
Day 7
After breakfast, drive towards Bichigt Valley. Here, explore the remarkable gallery of ancient petroglyphs found throughout the valley. The rock art provides an opportunity to observe traces of ancient human activity and discover another important part of Mongolia's archaeological heritage. After exploring Bichigt Valley, continue to your Ger Camp for the evening.
Tsagaan Agui Cave
Day 8
Today, continue towards Tsagaan Agui Cave, an important archaeological site associated with some of the earliest evidence of human presence in Mongolia, dating back approximately 250,000 years. Explore the cave and learn about its significance before continuing to your accommodation for the evening.
Arvaikheer town
Day 9
After breakfast, drive towards Arvaikheer, the capital of Uvurkhangai Province. Upon arrival, visit the Uvurkhangai Province Museum to learn more about the region and its heritage. In the evening, enjoy some time at Arvaikheer Square before returning to your accommodation.
Bayangobi
Day10
After breakfast, drive towards Bayangobi. Along the way, continue experiencing the changing landscapes of central Mongolia. Upon arrival, visit Erdenekhamba Monastery before settling into your Ger Camp for the evening.
Kharkhorum
Day 11
Today, drive to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia's most important historical and Buddhist sites, and continue to the Kharakhorum Museum to explore the history of the ancient capital. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a traditional Mongolian calligraphy lesson before returning to your accommodation.
Khustai National Park
Day 11
After breakfast, continue your journey towards Khustai National Park. The park is famous as a habitat of the last wild horse species in the world, the Przewalski's horse, locally known as Takhi. Enjoy a wildlife viewing experience in the park and visit the Khustai National Park Museum and Information Center to learn more about the area's natural environment and wild horses.
Ulaanbaatar
Day 12
After breakfast, drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival in the capital, visit a cashmere factory before enjoying some free time in the afternoon. In the evening, experience a traditional Mongolian music and dance performance, followed by a farewell dinner celebrating the end of your journey through the Gobi Desert and central Mongolia.

Day 13
After breakfast, complete your departure preparations and transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
